A Marine sergeant dies on an alien battlefield and wakes up inside the body of the enemy warrior who killed him. Now he has to impersonate her, fight alongside the people he was trained to destroy, and survive the hundred dead voices in his head who won't stop talking.

Cole Smyth grew up in Mountlake Terrace, Washington — second youngest of eight kids, raised on Star Wars, Subway sandwiches, and summers at Ocean Shores. He studied psychology and philosophy at the University of Washington, which taught him how people think and why they pretend not to.
He always wanted to write books but didn't get around to it until his friends got tired of hearing him talk about it. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and six kids.
When he's not writing, he's probably making school lunches, arguing about Star Trek, or staring at the rain through a window with a cup of coffee. He doesn't do social media, but he loves hearing from readers by email.
